About Amy

Making a decision to seek extra help and support during difficult seasons of life is a huge step. Certain times in life can be especially challenging and stressful. Seeking therapy is a sign of both strength and courage. Amy’s desire is to come alongside you and work collaboratively to help you deal with any challenges, stressors, difficulties, and/or mental health struggles you may be facing. As a therapist, Amy is caring and empathetic while providing you with hope and encouragement to achieve your goals.

Amy has experience dealing with a wide variety of relational, emotional, spiritual, and psychological struggles. Amy’s training has prepared her to work with children, teens, adults, couples, families, and young adults. She has gone through several trainings: EMDR, Parent-Child Attachment EMDR, Polyvagal, DBT, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Gottman Method, and infidelity/affairs.  Other competencies include ADHD, mood/anxiety, parenting, PTSD, spiritual issues, co-dependency, and relationships. Amy’s previous experience has been in residential, school based mental health, children's community mental health, and private practice settings.
