About Helen

Entering the therapeutic process requires great courage. Helen understands this and honors each client and their journey, coming alongside them with a marked sense of compassion and warmth. With a collaborative and strengths-based approach, Helen seeks to empower her clients towards healing and restoration of their lives.

Helen’s areas of focus include anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/loss, identity issues, premarital/couples counseling, family conflict, acculturation issues, spiritual issues, women’s issues, and trauma. She is EMDR trained, and certified in Prepare & Enrich. In addition, she has a background in working with children/teens in education and in supporting children/adolescents and their families in community mental health. Helen is also passionate about working with those in vocational ministry and those who are disillusioned by church.
