When experiencing any kind of suffering or relational conflict, we often feel alone and disconnected in our distress. Karina understands this, and holds true compassion and empathy for those in such pain. She attunes to her clients with warmth and tenderness, caring deeply for their emotional and relational well-being. Her approach is collaborative, inviting authenticity within emotional processing. Working with attachment theory and a psychodynamic lens, Karina provides a safe space for her clients to process and gain insight as they journey toward healing, integration, and growth.

Karina can assist with a wide range of issues including relationship struggles, depression, anxiety, and trauma. She is clinically trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, as well as EMDR. As a pastor’s wife for nearly 20 years, she has experience working with people in the church as well as those who feel disillusioned by church. She cares about the whole person in the context of relationships, families, spirituality, and culture.
