About Joyce
Joyce is passionate about helping couples and families connect authentically with each other. She believes that while hurt often arises in relationships, healing can also occur within them. In her warm and inviting therapeutic approach, Joyce creates a safe space for clients to explore their negative cycles and underlying attachment needs, and work on sharing and receiving care from each other. She is also skilled in helping separated couples who are struggling with co-parenting.
She is particularly drawn to helping clients navigate complex trauma. She uses EMDR, an effective modality for trauma treatment. She deeply understands how attachment injuries show up in relationships. Trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and the Gottman Method, she makes use of evidence-based strategies to restructure relational dynamics to improve relationship satisfaction.
